Eric Park is a guitar stylist equally at home with folk, jazz, pop or country songs, as well as his own compositions. As well as finger and flat-picking, he is an excellent slide player. Eric travels the country and resides in San Francisco.
Hali Hammer is a prolific singer-songwriter in a variety of styles & has won numerous awards for her songwriting ability. She is accompanied by Randy Berge, Paul Herzoff, and John Koch.

At 1 pm, 6/24, the Hali Hammer Band will play at the Berkeley International Folk Festival, sponsored by Freight & Salvage. Hali will be joined by Randy Berge on guitar, Paul Herzoff on harmonica, and John Koch on bass.
A fabulous lineup of international folk performers appears on the Freight stage as part of the Berkeley International Folk Festival. The festival showcases a full day of amazing musical talent covering an expansive array of genresCajun, Reggae, Mexican, Cuban, and Blues as well as several of the finest singer-songwriters around. Coinciding with the West Berkeley International Food Festival, the all-day musical extravaganza provides the musical complement to an amazing array of wares & foods from around the world that can be found on the San Pablo corridor of West Berkeley.
Each of these artists would bring down the house in a solo show: the chance to see them all in a single night (and for free!) is almost too good to be true!

An afternoon of high energy spoken word performance, poetry/theater, topical songs, and more, featuring Albert Lannon and Friends, plus singer-songwriters Hali Hammer and Bernard Gilbert, and Special Guest Chris Chandler with his new film, "The Pageant of the Paterson Silk Strike." Open mic follows, so bring a story, poem, or song to share (5 minute limit at open mic).
Albert Lannon is a former ILWU Local 6 official and retired Laney College Labor Studies Chair, now a performance poet in Tucson, drawing his material from working class history and current events. "Friends" include Kaitlin Meadows, Justin Lannon, Alan Anzalone, Ellen Starbird, Maxine DeFelice, Tom DeFelice, Karin Hart, Mindy Pines, & Harry Siitonen. Hali Hammer & Bernard Gilbert are well-known Bay Area singer-songwriters. (To repeat) Chris Chandler was called by Utah Phillips, "the best performance poet I have ever seen."

Join Hali, Randy, Paul and John in their first full band performance of the new year, at the wacky and wonderful feast for the knick-knack lover in all of us that is Central Perk! located next to the new Cerrito theatre on San Pablo Ave, corner of Central Ave in El Cerrito; if you've never been there, it is worth the trip just to marvel at their amazing collection of pop cultural artifacts - and it's a bright and friendly place to hear music and partake in light refreshment.
We'll have a couple of new songs in addition to our usual cheery assortment of tunes - hope to see you there !
