OCCUPELLA will be at the Tax the Rich Rally as usual every Monday on upper Solano Ave. in front of the Oaks Theater and across the street at the Chase Bank. 4 till 5 p.m. on March 7th, AFTERWARDS 5 to 6 p.m. from the 14th on once Daylight Savings Time begins on the 13th. check our calendar at www.occupella.org for more info

Saturday,March 12th: Bernie Sanders House Concert Benefit at Raquella Thaman’s home. The event will start at 5 p.m. and we’ll start singing at 5:30. We’ll each be doing a few of our own songs, then we’ll be leading Occupella numbers. Raquella is going to make a big pot of soup and have wine and beer. If people want to bring something they can but it isn’t necessary. Lemon Hammer (no relation!) is playing at 7:00. Email me at [email protected] for the address.

Thursday, March 31st: Members of the SF Folk Music Club will be featured on Berkeley TV 25 from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m.

The next show will feature Ken Hayes, Ed Hilton and me and Randy. We’ll each do one song and a short interview. You are welcome to come to the live broadcast. Be there by 7:15 at the latest as the show will start promptly at 7:30. The address is 2239 MLK Jr. Way (the studio is in the south end of the BHS campus, but can only be accessed from the street). It will also be live streamed on Bcmtv.org and will later be posted on their website, but we’d love to have you in the audience!

Friday, April 1st: Lawanda Ultan will be having an April Fool’s get-together at Art House, 2905 Shattuck Ave in Berkeley, and I’ll be one of the guest performers.
